WHEELERS is situated in the centre of the historic town of ERLANGEN, Franconia,
Bavaria. just a stones throw from both the train station and bus station and with easy access to one of the main north south motorways, the A3. If of course you intend to fly in just to see us, then its just a
twenty minute drive from the international airport at Nuremberg. Amongst the ever growing calendar of events in Erlangen is the world famous ""Bergkirchweih" in the spring, and of course if you come to the "Berg"
then the only place worth going after it closes is of course WHEELERS !The boss, Ben Wheeler
after finishing his studies at Crowborough private school of education, entered the cooking profession at Deal School of Catering, there after worked his way up to Soux Chef cooking at many large hotels and restaurants in London, the south east of England and Germany. In order to round off his knowledge of the gastonomie trade, tried his hand behind the bar at a few of the Irish pubs in the Erlangen / Nuremberg area in order to learn the bar trade, finally working as manager of the
"FATHER TEDS" Irish Pub in Fischbach Germany before opening WHEELERS.WHEELERS has a traditional Irish Bar , a very comfortable bar styled on a Gentlemans Club, but of course intended for ALL that wish to enjoy the relaxed attmosphere in front of
the fireplace seated in a roomy armchair, where one can read, play a good game of chess or backgammon, or simply enjoy the company of friends and a nice drink, perhaps even something to eat from the kitchen, a light
snack or perhaps chicken drum sticks from the lava grill, of course we must not forget the Beer Garden
for those balmy summer days and evenings, and if the weather isn't so kind then we can open the large doors to the "Club" room so that you can sit in the warm and still enjoy the feeling of sitting in the garden.
